01. Setup

Obtain the Front-end App Download the Door Tablet app for Android, iPad, Microsoft Tablets, and Windows PCs. It includes endpoint and server software for full functionality.
Run the Front-end App Initial run of the Door Tablet app on your selected hardware
Start the admin interface Door Tablet provides a browser-based Admin Interface (Web UI). The default username and password should be changed. The domain part of the URL varies by access.
Core Setup Door Tablet lets you configure the system via Web UI, available on all platforms. Use the Web UI for security settings and initial installations.
User Records User records allow tablet access via RFID or PIN. Users can self-register for approval or be added manually. External ID sources shouldn't import users.
User permissions Understand how Door Tablet user permissions work, how to assign roles, and how to control access to booking and admin features.
Time Zones For Microsoft Exchange, set up relevant time zones and adjust them seasonally. Remove unnecessary zones and keep only those applicable to your organization.
Workplace Spaces Edit meeting spaces via the Web UI. Before creating or modifying spaces, click "Synchronise" to connect Door Tablet to your scheduling system and import spaces.
Clone Space Settings Use the Assign Meeting Space Settings Tool to easily copy settings from one space to others, selectively. It simplifies the process for multiple spaces.
Facilities Indicate available facilities in each meeting space. Icons for these facilities appear on room, schedule, and TV displays, but not on Welcome displays.
Space Directory The Door Tablet Web UI lets you organise spaces with a multi-level directory. Define a "Directory Path" for each space for easy viewing and access.
Neighborhoods Door Tablet groups meeting spaces into neighborhoods, helping display the status of a group, like finding free rooms when the current one is occupied.
Message Template Door Tablet lets you create custom messages with HTML. If no template is used, the default developer template applies. Multiple template options are available.
Languages Door Tablet lets you select your preferred language for door and TV displays. English is default. Admin is not supported, but additional languages can be added.
Unlocking a Display When opening a display, it locks after a few seconds. Tap the padlock and enter the key code to unlock. It will auto-lock again if not unlocked in time.
Map and Photo You can add a map and photo for each resource via the Web UI or Notes client. Tablets can't upload images but can display them. One image is optional.
Licensing When you buy Door Tablet, you must install and distribute your license. This guide covers obtaining, activating spaces, and distributing the license.
All Private Meetings can be set as private if certain words appear at the start or end of the subject. Text is case-insensitive, hiding subject and organiser.
Phantom Meetings Configure specific words to hide meetings from display devices. These meetings remain in calendars but won’t appear on endpoints or in Analytics.

02. Advanced Setup
