Distant Reservations
Until the new version it was only possible to create
ad hoc reservation (booking) in the room being used currently. Users have requested the ability to reserve another room from the list of available rooms.
This is now provided in the form of Distant Reservations. Once enabled on your system, users access this function by opening the "other" rooms and look for a free room that meets their needs, has the right equipment, is available for enough time and so on.
Once the room is booked, users have to head there and check-in, otherwise the room is released. Of course this feature can be abused but you can control this by ensuring check-in is enabled and prevent this capability, if necessary, in certain rooms.

Reservation dialog improvements
We enhanced the dialog to offer a person name with new validation. We also changed the participant counter and made it compulsory. This will improve data quality and the statistics we collect about meetings and overall utilization.
Web UI enhancements and a new tool
Clients with many rooms found the process of configuring rooms, with their many features and options, rather tedious. With this release it is now possible to apply room setting to many rooms with a few clicks. To read about the new tool please

We have also improved many other aspects of the Web UI, including navigation, searching, group selections and more.
Another area that needed improving was the addition of welcome messages and logos to existing reservations. It is now possible to upload a logo and text to a meeting, easily. No need for HTML knowledge.
Door Tablet AIO - Firmware update
Revision 1.0.18 is now available. If you are on 1.0.17 you may upgrade but it's not mandatory. All latest deliveries already contain the latest firmware.
With this latest implementation we added features that we are yet to exploit in the Door Tablet client App. In the near future you may need to upgrade in order to exploit these features.
