INTEGRATION DETAILS

Designed Around PRISM's Booking Rules

Door Tablet works with the booking capabilities and restrictions provided by the Building Engines PRISM API.

Under the currently documented integration, reservations cannot be modified once they have started. Consequently, check-in, meeting extension and early termination are not available through the PRISM connection.

This distinction helps property managers plan suitable booking workflows and select the Door Tablet functions that work with their PRISM environment.

GETTING STARTED

Connect Door Tablet to Building Engines PRISM

Configure the PRISM connection through Door Tablet's central administration interface, then synchronise and activate your required meeting rooms.

Prepare PRISM Credentials

Make sure you have the email address and password for a PRISM account with Account Admin rights.

Configure the Connection

Open the Door Tablet System Profile, select Building Engines PRISM, enter the account credentials and test the connection.

Synchronise Room Resources

Use room synchronisation to bring the appropriate PRISM meeting spaces into Door Tablet for configuration.

Activate and Assign Displays
