Door Tablet V4.1

Door Tablet Room Booking and Scheduling.

V4.1 was released on 22 March 2014, and the latest tablet apps are ready on the Google Play store and shortly on the Apple App.  This is primarily a maintenance release.

What is in this release:

3. Improved performance on Microsoft Office 365

Auto Resume
Door Tablet allows you to set a client to open the last display automatically without the user involvement.  This is particularly helpful on Android platforms and PCs that are set to run Door Tablet on start-up.  For this and other tablets consideration please click here.

Fixes

1. All-day events did not show on the tablet correctly
2. Changed labels and removed countdown for all day events
3. Neighborhoods did not open correctly on versions of Microsoft Exchange
4. Assistance request did not show correctly when there was no assistance email address at both room and system levels
5. Room names did not display correctly on Schedule Displays

Microsoft Surface Pro 2
Work on native support for this platform has begun.  At this time it is not clear what demand there is - if this is your platform of choice please let us know.  You can just reply to this message.

Availability
All server components are available for download.  If you are upgrading your installation please pick the 30MB~ download - that is all you need for upgrade.  Android App is available in Google Play and the iPad App will be available in a few days.

Downloads
The following are now available...

1. Door Tablet for Microsoft Exchange 2007 onwards and Office 365 - this is a self installing package for those running the Microsoft Exchange server with the latest service packs.  Install the software on any machine, including the same machine where Exchange is installed.  Please follow closely the required steps before starting to use Door Tablet with Microsoft Exchange, and of course see the installation instructions here
2. Door Tablet for IBM Domino - this is a self installing package for those running on the IBM server from V8.5.2 upwards (the software tested on the latest V9, too).  Available for Windows 32/64 bit and must be installed on the same machine where the resource reservations database resides.  Should you need to run on Linux or Unix platforms please contact us for deliveries.  See installation instructions here

Trying Door Tablet

1. You can try Door Tablet now - even without downloading anything.  Open the site home page and half way through click on the iPad like image.  Use your existing credentials to authenticate
2. Use the PC interface on your own installation.  See here
