Windows Tablets

Windows tablets are fully supported using a Windows Store application. Search and download the application using the term "Door Tablet"

The following devices are supported:

  1. Tablets with Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
  2. Microsoft Surface
  3. LINX 10, Vision 5

Power and Networking solutions
  1. Full PoE readily available
  2. Power and networking using low cost splitters
  3. Networking is both wired and Wi-Fi
  4. Full frame enclosures may be hard to find due to lack of standard, but fully available for Microsoft Surface

Software
  1. Home button may not be left exposed. This can be controlled via settings
  2. Enclosures need to hide the button on the chassis
  3. Mobile Device Management (MDM) is recommended. Software available from a variety of vendors
