Obtain the Server

Door Tablet makes it easy for administrators to deploy in their environment. The following instructions provide the simple steps you need to obtain the software.


Deploying Door Tablet on a Domino Server or Microsoft Exchange server:
The following steps are required...

  1. Register on this site
  2. Login
  3. Go to the downloads page
  4. Select the correct software package
  5. Install the software on your own server
  6. Configure the software for first use
Registration
Registration is short and simple and all field are required.


We will email you your password, and you can change it too.

Login
Door-Tablet.com will present you with your username. The password will be in your email.


Dashboard Downloads
At this time we only offer the Domino Database download. Microsoft Exchange package is expected soon.

Installation of the server components
Please follow the instructions provided for the installation in the following platform:
  1. Microsoft Exchange - Click here Database 'dt.HELP', View 'Help Documents', Document 'Microsoft Exchange installer'
  2. IBM Domino - Click here Database 'dt.HELP', View 'Help Documents', Document 'IBM Domino Installer'

Prepare the database for use (IBM Domino Only)
Before you can use the database you will need to sign it and update the ACL. Sign the database with a user ID that has read rights to databases on the server and read/write rights to the Resource Reservation database.
The ACL looks like this...

You should change the ACL, as long as you remember to assign the role of Admin to administrators. The -Default- entry is currently wide open... close it.
