You can define the type of desks used in your organization easily.

Create a desk type:


Please note: Types have to be unique. As you add types the available choices will be reduced.



Once you added types these can be selected in Desk records and used in imports, too

Changing the description of desks
Door Tablet will show the description of desks in 23 languages, depending on the user's language. You can change the description if required, in any of the languages you expect your users to use.

dt_normal	Normal desk typically empty but with power supply
dt_high	Variable height desk empty but with power supply
dt_multiscreen	A desk with multiple screens
dt_phonebooth	A desk inside a phone booth or similar box
dt_shared	A desk shared with others in a row
dt_collaboration	A desk shared with others facilitating discussions
dt_custom	Admin defined desk
