Introduction

Door Tablet Now is a mobile application that you can use in the office in conjunction with display units provided by Door Tablet. The mobile app scans QR codes on displays and provides immediate access to schedules and actions that are relevant at that point.

One of the advantages of Door Tablet now is that it requires no installation. It's easier to deploy therefore and it provides identity and choice of languages for each user. When a user has gone through the process of identifying themselves for the first time using the app, thereafter their interaction with the signage in the office is streamlined. One of the advantages of deployments that include RFID cards is the availability of identity and linking that identity to a particular user. When using Door Tablets NOW you can achieve exactly the same freedoms yet you do not have to have devices that can read RFID cards and manage the whole process of issuing cards and handling user information.

The application provides a range of features but at the same time it avoids abuse. It controls who can use the application, what kind of functions they can perform, and when they have to rescan a QR code because they moved away from the office.

Administrators control how Door Tablet Now works. It will work with a range of devices, including ePaper devices, and it provides controls to administrators across all the functions provided by the application.
