Microsoft 365 Government and Door Tablet
Microsoft 365 Government provides dedicated environments for eligible U.S. government organisations and their partners. GCC, GCC High and DoD serve different security, compliance and operational requirements, while supporting the Microsoft 365 productivity services organisations rely on for scheduling and collaboration.
Door Tablet connects to Microsoft 365 through Microsoft Graph, allowing organisations to use their existing room resource calendars for meeting room scheduling. The appropriate connection configuration depends on the Microsoft 365 Government environment in use.

Flexible Deployment Options
Door Tablet can be deployed on-premises, in a privately managed cloud environment, or through Door Tablet CONNECT. The appropriate deployment depends on your organisation’s Microsoft 365 Government environment, security policies and compliance requirements.
- Private Cloud: Host the Door Tablet server software on cloud infrastructure that you manage. This option provides the flexibility of cloud hosting while allowing your organisation to control the server environment, configuration and data management. Private cloud deployment is suitable for organisations that want cloud-based infrastructure without relying on a fully managed SaaS service.
- Door Tablet CONNECT: CONNECT is Door Tablet’s managed cloud solution, removing the need to provision and maintain your own server. It offers a convenient deployment option for organisations using Microsoft 365 Government, subject to their specific security and compliance requirements.
- On-Premises Server: Run Door Tablet on your own infrastructure for greater control over the server environment and network configuration.
