New Hardware

To tackle the growing demand for flexible hot-desking, we added the Door Tablet DBD device to our offering: a compact, desk-side display engineered specifically for modern hybrid setups. The unit brings complete clarity and ease to high-traffic workspaces with:

• Bright LED status bars that give immediate visual signals across open-plan floors.
• Built-in NFC/RFID card readers for instant, secure desk check-ins.
• Integrated charging options that help keep individual desks organized and powered.

Prism

Our integration with Prism by Building Engines received significant feature enhancements over the past year. Designed for commercial real estate and multi-tenant properties, the update bridges local display bookings directly with tenant accounts to drive accountability:

• Usage & Audit Tracking: Generate exact utilization reports broken down by tenant, company, or individual user.
• Direct Monetization: Enable property managers to seamlessly invoice tenants for ad-hoc meeting room usage.
• Multi-Layer Verification: Enforce optional security rules requiring Employee IDs and real-time database checks before confirming display bookings.

Floor Plans

With our newest release, we delivered major usability improvements to the Door Tablet Floor Plan Editor:

• Multi-Layer Editor View: Admins can view and edit all floor plan layers simultaneously while customizing agenda and status colors with higher precision.
• Route Creation: Draw clear, step-by-step navigation paths on floor maps to help visitors and employees find their way from entrance displays to rooms, hot desks, or lecture halls.

Enhanced National Language Support (NLS)

As Door Tablet now offers 27 languages, we have completely upgraded our National Language Support (NLS) subsystem to accommodate this expanded library and richer per-language content.

Instead of preloading every language package, Door Tablet now dynamically loads only the specific languages your organization needs on demand. This keeps the application lightweight, fast, and responsive while retaining full on-tablet language switching, flag icons, and automatic reset capabilities.

Note for Existing Users: To take full advantage of the enhanced NLS subsystem, please ensure that both your Door Tablet server and client applications are updated to the latest versions simultaneously.
