Door Tablet Accessibility Statement

Last updated: January 2026

Public.Class Limited, the developer of Door Tablet, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility and usability of our workspace booking solution across all supported platforms.
Scope of this statement

This accessibility statement applies to the Door Tablet system, including:

  • Tablet applications (iOS, Android, and Tizen)
  • Web-based administrative and booking interfaces
Accessibility approach

Public.Class Limited aims to align with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where feasible.

Accessibility features

Door Tablet includes the following accessibility-supporting features:

  • High contrast display mode available on tablet interfaces
  • Alternative booking access via web browser, allowing users to utilise browser-based accessibility tools (such as zoom, screen readers, and keyboard navigation)
  • Clear visual layout designed for ease of use on touch interfaces
Integration with scheduling platforms

Door Tablet integrates with third-party scheduling systems (such as calendar and room booking platforms). Room bookings made in advance are typically created and managed directly within these external systems. As a result, the accessibility of those booking workflows is governed by the respective platform providers. Door Tablet does not replace or alter these workflows, but rather reflects and displays booking information on tablet devices and enables quick interactions at the point of use. Users may therefore benefit from the accessibility features provided by their organisation’s chosen scheduling platform when booking rooms in advance.

Known limitations

We recognise that some areas of the product do not yet fully meet accessibility standards:

  • Tablet interfaces are primarily touch-based and may have limited support for keyboard navigation
  • Screen reader optimisation is currently limited on tablet applications
  • Some elements may not fully meet contrast or labelling requirements in all configurations
Planned improvements

Public.Class Limited is actively reviewing opportunities to enhance accessibility within Door Tablet. This includes exploring the implementation of screen reader support on tablet devices, such as interaction models where users can trigger spoken feedback by engaging with on-screen elements. These improvements are part of our ongoing product development roadmap and will be prioritised based on user needs and feedback.
