Connecting Door Tablet to Microsoft 365 Government. In this video, we will: Explain how to select the connection endpoint for your Microsoft 365 Government environment. Test the connection and synchronise room resources with Door Tablet. Show how to activate rooms and prepare their licences for deployment. Door Tablet integrates with the three Microsoft 365 Government environments: GCC, GCC High and DoD. First, we log in to the Door Tablet Admin web interface. This demonstration uses an installed server that already has its Microsoft 365 connection details. Open System Profile. Under Technology, select Microsoft 365 or Exchange, and set Variant to Microsoft 365. The application ID, tenant ID and secret value come from your Microsoft application registration. The application must already have the required API permissions. The registration process is covered separately. Check that Use Microsoft Graph is selected. For GCC High or DoD, Use Application Permissions must also be selected. Next, find the 365 Government field. Select the endpoint that matches your tenant. The list includes Standard Microsoft 365 or GCC, GCC High and DoD. If your environment requires a custom endpoint, select Custom EP and enter the full address, including HTTPS, a colon and two forward slashes. Use the endpoint specified for your environment. In this demonstration, we return to Standard Microsoft 365 or GCC before testing the connection. Click the Check Connection link. A successful test displays the number of resources found. Here, the message reports 25 resources using Microsoft Graph. If you want to limit the rooms available to Door Tablet, you can use the Rooms group field. Your application configuration can also restrict access to resources. Once the connection test succeeds, submit the System Profile to save your configuration. Now open Spaces. On a new system, the list may be empty. In this demonstration, the room records already exist. Click Synchronise. When the process finishes, Door Tablet reports how many rooms were processed, inserted or updated. Here, 25 rooms were processed, with none inserted or updated. Click OK to close the report. We can now review the room records. Newly created rooms need to be activated before use. Open the room you want to enable and select Active. Submit the record to save the change. For several rooms, you can use the setting cloner. Select the rooms you want to update, then open Clone Space Settings. This dialog lets you choose a source space and the settings to copy. Here, we leave the cloner and return to the room list. We open a second room, select Active and submit the record. Activation and licensing are separate. An active room may still appear as unlicensed. You can continue configuring the system and testing connectivity before completing licensing. Before deployment, apply the appropriate licence so that evaluation messages are no longer displayed. Open Licensing. This demonstration already has a licence entered. For a new licence, enter the supplied licence data and choose Save License Data. Then choose Distribute Licenses. Return to Spaces and check the licence indicators. In the final view, the two rooms we activated now display PRO indicators. We have seen how to choose a Microsoft 365 Government endpoint, test the connection, synchronise room records and prepare rooms for deployment. Thanks for watching.
