Door Tablet on AMX VARIA range In this video We will discuss the integration of Door Tablet with the AMX Varia range of devices We will show how the software has been adapted to the smaller display size Door Tablet runs native as an Android application and has now been integrated and made available on the VARIA range by AMX Our software runs on the entire range from the popular 10.1 inch device to the less common devices such as this one All of the range are interactive with LED lights and additional hardware options This device we are showing here is the AMX VARIA SL-50 which is a 5.5 inch, ultra slim device Let’s connect the device to the Door Tablet server Once connected, we can see this touch optimised interface You will see the interface is similar to our popular 10 inch devices but we had to make special adaptations to get the interface to work comfortably on a smaller device As always, we can see a lot of information on the display including the meeting room agenda the details of the current or next meeting the capacity of the room and the facilities for the room We can use the crosshair for navigation which exposes large finger friendly buttons Let’s reserve a room We input our PIN code and specify the number of attendees We can now see how this display looks when it is engaged But of course, you can always customise this display with different colours logos, fonts and more Let’s look at the help function here we can report any issues with the room We can also see other rooms from this display by tapping ‘Nearby’ Now let’s go back and release this room and we can see how the room looks when it is free again In conclusion you can experience the full functionality of Door Tablet on the AMX Varia range including the AMX VARIA SL-50 Thank you for watching Room booking devices provide an easy way to view availability and interact with meeting spaces.
