Using the Quotation Tool In this video We will show where to access our quotation tool and how to build a quote We will explain how to email yourself a quote We will also show you how to edit a quote you have already made To begin, log in to the Door Tablet website using your normal username and password The first time you come into here you might find that you are not able to access the quotation tool To get access to the quotation tool you will need to contact your account manager who will enable this for you Click on ‘Get Quote’ When you start your quote will be empty You can start adding items to it and see the total as you go along These prices are for illustrative purposes only Let’s start by adding software We know that we will need a server so we can choose between the Enterprise server and the Standard server Let’s say we started with the standard server we can see totals being accumulated in the top right If we decide we actually want to have an enterprise server and we change this we can see the standard server automatically becomes zero Here you can select the currency which should be automatically selected to the region you are working in We support three currencies Next, we are adding 20 rooms and as before there is a running total Now we will add some hardware We are adding 20 devices that will be used outside our rooms We have all our devices here to choose from, we are going for the Door Tablet SL There are options for different devices and in the case of the SL we can extend the warranty by an additional year this must be done at the time of purchasing the hardware We can see our total for the quote here and the renewal cost for the software We can also mark here that we want to add delivery Please note that currently the delivery charge is unknown Once the quote has been emailed to you we will go and find out how much the delivery of your items will cost For that we will need an accurate delivery address At this point we can click here to ask the system to email us the quote As you can see, the quote was emailed, and a unique reference is provided Now we are going to our email inbox to see the quote A few things to note here we can see the date the quote is valid until, the currency used and the quote ID This quote is SAAS based so it shows the monthly price of each item and the accumulated annual price Of course, if it is hardware, it’s a one-off purchase At the bottom we can also see the total and the annual renewal price for this quote If we want to change an existing quote, log in again and click on ‘Use Recent Quote’ We can now make any modifications we wish Let’s add two more room licenses and two more devices As before you can see the price change We can email this quote to ourselves again You will note that each quote you send yourself will have a unique quotation ID Thank you for watching Door Tablet supports dedicated room booking displays and devices for workplace management.
