Licensing Door Tablet In this video We will show you how to license Door Tablet from the admin web UI We will explain where to input the information you are provided with after purchasing a license We will show you how to distribute and view your licenses It is very easy to license Door Tablet but first let’s understand why we need to license it With the server installed you can run the system without a license for as long as you like But if you do, the displays will show a message that it is using evaluation software this message will come up after one hour of usage For this message to go you will need to refresh the displays To use Door Tablet without this message occurring you will need to obtain a license At this point you should have already installed the Door Tablet Server connected the server to your scheduling system and synchronised and activated your rooms First, we need to log in Then go to ‘Spaces’ We are going into one of our workspaces that we want to license We need to confirm that this space is active we can see that here Then we need to indicate we want this space to be licensed so we make sure that ‘Install license’ is ticked In this case we are also using Pro Hardware, so this is also ticked Now we go to ‘Licensing’ If you try to save the licensing page empty you will see this message here After you have purchased a license through our sales team the license will arrive to you by email This email will include the license key and the license body If you’ve also licensed the API, you will get that code as well The license key and the API key will appear as text in the email Whereas, the license body will come in as an attachment So, let’s drop these in here Now click on ‘Save license data’ You will see the entitlement is embedded in the license The entitlement here is for two servers of enterprise type 120 spaces and the same number of displays and so on We are now ready to distribute the licenses, so we click on this button Door Tablet will tell us at this point how many objects it has processed this will appear just below here If we click on ‘List licenses’ we can see a list of all our spaces that have been licensed The licenses are now ready to use so when you open a Door Tablet display you will no longer see an evaluation message Thank you for watching Door Tablet supports dedicated room booking displays and devices for workplace management.
