Remote configuration In this video We will show how to download the Door Tablet remote configuration tool for android devices We will explain how to find your devices Finally, we will show how to modify the settings and push these to your devices In Door Tablet we give you an option to remotely configure your devices to suit the needs of your business Door Tablet offers tracking of your end-points which allows you to send configurations on-mass We have another video for that This video covers the Remote Configuration Utility allowing you to control individual devices This works when using our professional android devices that are supplied by Qbic Technology To access the remote configuration tool, we have logged in to the dashboard on the Door Tablet website and gone to ‘Downloads’ Look for the second section and we will find it here As you can see it is just under 60 megabytes in size Download the application Once we have installed the application we launch it from the windows menu Then click on ‘Device Configuration’ Select the protocol we want to use We are now ready to scan our network to find devices If we have done this before these will show already in here Once we see a device, we can select it and look at configurations We can see existing configurations and set-up new things We can click on ‘Settings’ and choose anything we want to modify For example, we could say we want our devices to go to sleep at weekends and we would like the device to start in the morning and sleep in the evening Once we have made these changes, we can push the configuration to the device by clicking on ‘Start Configuration’ On some models we can also view the device and run it in real time We have two types of devices here One of these is greyed out but one is available Click on this symbol Now we can see exactly what is shown on the screen and even interact with it Like click on this button and see the actions available We can also exit the application and look at the configuration physically on the device Thank you for watching Meeting rooms and workspace resources can be managed centrally using Door Tablet administration tools.
