Door Tablet CONNECT In this video We will...show how to log in to your Door Tablet account create a new instance of Door Tablet CONNECT We will look at how to connect Door Tablet CONNECT to your scheduling platform and synchronise your meeting rooms Finally, we will show how to access Door Tablet CONNECT from a browser and a tablet As a reminder Door Tablet CONNECT is a deployment that does not require the organisation to have its own server Instead, the organisation uses a multi-tenant system This means the organisation does not have to worry about setting up maintaining, or upgrading the server To get started, we need to log in to our door-tablet.com account On the dashboard you will notice an instance code has already been allocated for a Door Tablet CONNECT instance but the instance itself has not been created yet The preparation of creating the instance is handled by your Door Tablet account manager They will allocate a unique instance code for you, set up security measures and decide on the server where your Door Tablet CONNECT instance will be hosted Click on the link to create the Door Tablet CONNECT instance Once the instance is created you will see a message on the dashboard confirming the successful creation of the user with the instance code After accepting the message, you can now open the Door Tablet CONNECT application When you first connect, it will take a few seconds to get the files ready Log in using the same credentials as your door-tablet.com account The first step when starting with a Door Tablet installation is to connect it to your scheduling platform, in this case, Microsoft 365 Go to the System Profile section and choose the Microsoft 365 technology Provide the necessary credentials to enable the connection to your Microsoft 365 system Once the connection is verified you can synchronise and import all the meeting rooms from your Microsoft 365 system In the spaces section you will see the list of imported meeting rooms By default, they will be marked as inactive Use the Cloner Tool to activate all the meeting rooms and set the reservation rules such as the maximum reservation time After activating the rooms they will be ready to use on Door Tablet end-points such as tablets We can now open a room in a browser or on a tablet From the Door Tablet CONNECT dashboard, you can open a meeting room directly in a browser Click on this button Click ‘Add Server Connection’ and it will ask for a key code, this is specified in the System Profile Security tab Then click 'Try connection' The system will send the system admin an email with the verification code Drop the verification code in and click ‘Save Connection’ and you will have the server connection Now we will show how to connect to a Door Tablet CONNECT instance using a tablet but the overall process will be the same Click on the "Add Server Connection" button Enter the instance number for the Door Tablet CONNECT system you want to connect to And it will ask for a key code This is specified in the System Profile Security tab The system will display information about which Door Tablet Connect server it is connected to You will receive the verification code in your mailbox Once you enter the correct key code, the connection will be checked and saved Once the connection is established you can access all the same Door Tablet functionality as you can when using other server options Let’s open a room in "Buttonless" mode Here we can see the meeting schedule and all the other information we normally can from the tablet display The overall experience and functionality is the same regardless of the licensing or deployment method, whether on-premises or on the cloud Thank you for watching
